We are the Glow Girls! When we both moved back home to Maine from Boston after 10+ years, one thing we missed the most was our favorite go to, reliable spray tan studio. For being in a town that is the wedding capital of the state, we realized there is a huge need for our services to help brides, wedding guests, and just about anyone look and feel their best. We took matters into our own hands and got certified in Austin, Texas with Bronze Boss. We’ve spent the last year testing our techniques, solutions, and products with quality clean ingredients on our clients. We are so excited to be able to now offer our luxury mobile spray tans to our clients throughout Maine and New England! We can’t wait to make you feel beautiful! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: -What type of spray tans do you offer? Every spray tan by the Glow Girls is fully customized based on each client’s needs. We have a variety of solutions including standard overnight, rapid, and clear and we will work with each client to determine what is best! -Do you come to my house to spray tan me? Yes! We are fully mobile and are able to tan you in the comfort of your own home, hotel room, AirBnb - we just require about a 5x5 foot space to setup our equipment. Our spray tans will not get anywhere in your home! Upon our arrival, it typically takes 10-15 minutes to setup, and the spray session lasts about 10-15 minutes as well - we are usually in and out in 30 minutes. Groups of 2 are typically 45-60 minutes. -How far in advance should I book? We always recommend you book as soon as you know you’ll want a spray tan, especially during our busier summer months when we are busy with weddings! You’ll see our hours aren’t standard business hours since we work corporate jobs but are very flexible making later in the evenings and early mornings work. If you don’t see a good time that works for you as an option when booking, please email us as we often have flexibility to make most times work! -How should I prepare for my tan and take steps to maintain it after I’ve received it? Once you book and before your appointment, we will send you our full instructions for preparation for your tan and the after care! Depending on the solution we customize for you, we will give you the specifics on your rinse time during your appointment. -What if I have sensitive skin? You are in the right place! Part of the reason we started the Glow Girls is because we couldn’t find a tan in the area that worked well with our very sensitive skin. After testing every solution on the market, we’ve selected the solutions with the least ingredients that don’t cause any sort of reaction to our extremely sensitive skin, and never use solutions with fragrance in them. Most recently, we found a solution that has only 6 ingredients in it and is the cleanest solution on the market! -What areas do you service? We are based in Kennebunk and provide services to Kennebunk and Kennebunkport for no extra charge. Depending on where you are located, there may be an additional travel fee which will be communicated with you when you book an appointment. The majority of our tans have been in Southern Maine and the Seacoast of New Hampshire. For weddings we have gone as far as Bar Harbor or Cape Cod, nowhere is off limits! If you have any questions at all please email us. -How long will my tan last? Our tans last 7-10 days with the correct preparation and aftercare. Moisturizing daily and avoiding exfoliation after your tan can make it last up to two weeks!
